Venture into the heart of England's Peak District for an unforgettable two-day endurance challenge. This race traverses both the southern White Peak and northern Dark Peak, offering runners a diverse landscape filled with lush valleys, high moors, iconic peaks, and rugged gritstone edges.
The event unfolds across two stages: Day 1 focuses on the rolling hills and picturesque dales of the White Peak, while Day 2 challenges participants to navigate through the more remote and imposing terrain of the Dark Peak. Runners will experience a mix of classic trails and challenging navigation tasks as they push their limits in late autumn or winter conditions.
Race HQ is conveniently located at The Peak Centre in Edale, providing both accommodation options for those choosing this service and logistical support throughout the event. Participants can register on Friday evening from 19:00 to 21:00, with additional kit checks available for non-residential runners between Saturday morning (6:30-7:30) and Sunday morning (6:30-7:30). The race organizers ensure safety through a dedicated Ranger Safety Team stationed at key locations along the route.
Upon completion of both stages, participants will receive finisher medals and trophies for top performers. For those opting to stay overnight in Edale, accommodation is available at The Peak Centre or other local options such as the Edale Youth Hostel, Fieldhead Campsite, and various bed & breakfasts throughout the village.
