About the Event

ROCKCUT ULTRA: A 50-kilometer journey along Twillingate Island’s Rockcut Trails invites runners to explore rugged coastal paths, dense forests, marshy bogs, and scenic outport communities. Nestled on the edge of the North Atlantic, this ultra race offers a blend of natural beauty and challenging terrain.
HALFCUT: Spanning 23 kilometers, HALFCUT loops around Twillingate’s North Island, showcasing the island's rugged coastal trails that wind through picturesque landscapes by the sea. Runners will experience breathtaking views as they traverse single-track paths along the coastline.
SHORTCUT 9K: This challenging 9-kilometer loop starts in Snellins Cove and takes runners on a scenic journey to Back Harbour, up Batrix Island, through Spencer's Park, past Smith’s Lookout with its iconic cross, before descending back down to the starting point. The SHORTCUT offers a mix of coastal vistas and varied terrain within Twillingate’s charming outport communities.
