Each lap features a manageable elevation gain and loss of approximately 530 feet, making it accessible for riders of varying skill levels. Beyond racing, the day is packed with festivities at the Frisco Adventure Park, serving as basecamp for all activities. The park hosts a vendor village where attendees can explore local brands like Stio and Miir, offering everything from bike accessories to outdoor apparel. A full post-ride hangout awaits racers, complete with entertainment and an awards ceremony that celebrates not only top finishers but also the most creative costumes. Proceeds from the event go directly towards supporting Friends of the Dillon Ranger District (FoDRD), a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Colorado’s public lands through trail maintenance, conservation efforts, and community engagement. By participating in the Rockies Ramble, riders contribute to protecting these cherished natural spaces for future generations. Race day kicks off at 8:00 AM with the main event, followed by a special kids race starting at 11:00 AM.
