Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Healdsburg at the Sixth Annual Lake Sonoma Rosé Mile Downhill. Hosted by the renowned Healdsburg Running Company, this unique race promises an unforgettable experience for all participants. The course is a charming one-mile downhill journey along Madrone Road to the picturesque waters of Lake Sonoma.
The event kicks off with a scenic walk from Liberty Glen Campground to the starting line near campground E at 9 am sharp. As runners make their way down the hill, they'll encounter four "Rosé Aid Stations" every quarter mile where hydration and celebration meet in perfect harmony. At each station, participants will enjoy a refreshing pour of rosé before continuing on towards the finish.
The race concludes at Gray Pine Trailhead with a lively breakfast party featuring fresh snacks and more rosé to celebrate everyone’s achievements. Additional accolades are awarded for showcasing the best smile and most creative Rosé-Inspired costume throughout the day, adding an extra layer of fun and camaraderie among runners.
