This exclusive race, limited to just 100 participants aged 18+, offers an unparalleled opportunity for runners to challenge themselves in a unique setting that combines scenic beauty with inspiring history.
For those seeking a slightly shorter yet equally rewarding experience, the half-marathon begins in Spittal and ends on Holy Island at Lindisfarne Castle. With breathtaking coastal views along the way, this race is ideal for both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike. Limited to 500 entries, it promises an exhilarating journey through some of Britain's most captivating scenery.
Bib packs are available from Saturday afternoon in a pop-up gazebo on Holy Island or starting at 7:30 AM on the day itself near Spittal’s Sandstell Road for half-marathon runners. Both races start with a ceremonial feel — marathon participants take off at 9:30 AM, while the half-marathon begins an hour later.
All finishers will receive a distinctive and radiant medal that serves as more than just a token of achievement; it's a symbol of perseverance and dedication to excellence. These medals are designed to capture the essence of each runner’s journey through this challenging yet rewarding course.
