Experience the vibrant spirit of community and camaraderie this fall as Run With Her returns stronger than ever. Join us on September 27, 2026, for an inspiring morning run through McHugh Park, where you'll have a chance to support the Welcome Centre Shelter. The event kicks off at 9:15 am with additional parking available at WFCU Centre.
This inclusive race welcomes runners of all levels—from casual walkers to seasoned joggers and sprinters—promising an unforgettable experience regardless of your fitness level or previous participation. Rain or shine, this event is designed for everyone who wants to make a difference through movement and community engagement.
The course winds its way along scenic park pathways, offering breathtaking views that will keep you motivated throughout the journey. An aid station ensures you stay hydrated during the run, while families can enjoy a dedicated Kid’s Run and various on-site activities tailored for children. The atmosphere is electric with music, prizes, and engaging games, making it a perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion.
Kick off your day at 8:45 am with opening remarks and a cheque presentation ceremony. Then, gear up for the Kids 1K Fun Run starting at 9:00 am followed by a group warm-up session from 9:20 am to prepare you for the main event—the 5K Run and Walk that commences at 9:30 am.
