About the Event

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty and vibrant energy of Hope Cove on the South West Coast Path during the Something Wild Festival 2026. This unique gathering combines trail running, sea swimming, live music, camping, and family-friendly activities into a weekend filled with adventure.
Trail runners will find something for every level, from short 5K races to full marathons, along with the challenging Summit Wild Ultra. Sea lovers can enjoy the refreshing Rocky Horror SwimRun in its three variations: Short, Medium, and Long. The festival also features guided runs designed especially for families looking to explore together.
In addition to athletic challenges, Something Wild Festival offers a range of relaxation activities like yoga sessions, movement classes, and massage treatments. Kids are well catered for with Forest School drop-off sessions that provide educational fun in the great outdoors. Families can enjoy films under the stars and communal meals around warm fireside evenings.
The festival village is set right above Hope Cove, offering stunning coastal views and easy access to explore nearby estuaries along the South West Coast Path. Accommodation options include tent camping or parking for camper vans, complete with warm showers and compost toilets. Local food vendors serve up a variety of dishes, drinks, cocktails, and more.
