The course is an out-and-back run along the beach, starting from the RNLI car park near Crosby Beach. You'll enjoy a mix of compact and slightly softer sections of sand, creating a fun and varied running experience suitable for all skill levels. The distance will be approximately 3 to 4 kilometers, depending on tide conditions.
While less technical than traditional trail routes, the natural resistance of the sand provides an excellent workout. Ideal for beginners looking to start their Canicross journey, this event also offers enough challenge for more experienced runners seeking a solid training session.
This non-competitive timed event welcomes up to 40 participants and includes a keepsake for everyone who enters. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with encouragement from fellow runners regardless of pace or experience level. Public toilets are available near the car park, along with on-site refreshments at a coffee stand.
The course features clear markings and marshals positioned strategically throughout to ensure your safety and help you stay on track. All participants will receive a small token for their participation.
