Experience the OUTRace Series at Sugarbush Vineyard in Ontario for an unparalleled ultra-running adventure. This unique 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour race challenges runners of all levels to explore the vineyard's scenic trails. Participants can sign up solo or form relay teams for the 24-hour event. The course is a flat 3-kilometer loop that weaves through private wooded trails and open meadows, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and ease. The race begins at 9 AM on Saturday; however, runners in the 12-hour night option will start their journey after 9 PM on Friday. Running continuously is not required—take as many breaks as you need to fuel up or catch your breath. Simply inform the timing crew when you're done for early departures and enjoy a flexible race experience that suits every runner's pace. For those running solo, choose from three distinct timeframes: 6 hours, 12 hours (starting at night), or 24 hours. Relay teams can strategize their approach to maximize loop counts; each member must complete the course at least once. Awards and swag await top performers. First-place male and female winners will be crowned based on total loops completed within their chosen timeframe, while relay teams vying for glory will also receive recognition. Swag items are available in various sizes, so select yours upon registration to ensure a perfect fit. The deadline is August 17th; after this date, no changes can be made. For those seeking an overnight adventure, Sugarbush Vineyard offers free camping facilities on Friday evening. Bring your own tent and enjoy the rustic charm of the vineyard grounds under the stars. Alternatively, explore local accommodation options in nearby towns like Belleville or Picton for a more luxurious stay. On race day, runners will find ample support at our well-stocked aid station, featuring water, snacks, and other essentials. Enjoy gourmet treats such as grilled cheese sandwiches, perogies, and Fireball Sangrias (for adults only). Remember to bring your own reusable water bottles; we are a cupless event. Respect for the vineyard's private property is essential. Designated areas provide space for setting up tents, chairs, and drop bags without encroaching on restricted zones. Disrespect or unauthorized use will result in immediate disqualification from the race. Join us at Sugarbush Vineyard for an unforgettable ultra-running experience that combines nature, community spirit, and friendly competition.
