The Suizhou Marathon starts 7:30 AM on Sunday, October 18 at the Suizhou Museum, Hubei, with 10,000 runners split between a marathon (42.195km, 3,500 spots) and half marathon (21.0975km, 6,500 spots). Registration opens July 28 10:00 through September 12 18:00; if oversubscribed, entries are decided by lottery announced within a week of registration closing.
Home to the 2,470-year-old bianzhong bronze bells that stunned the archaeological world, Suizhou runs a course celebrated for its low elevation gain -- flat, open, and gentle throughout, ideal for both casual runners and serious PB attempts.
Entry fees: marathon 180rmb, half marathon 150rmb.
