Devon's Running Events invites you to join them for an unforgettable running experience at Summer Challenge Day 1, scheduled for Sunday, June 27th, 2026. This unique event operates on the 'TUGG' principle—Turn Up Get Going—which means participants can start anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM but must finish by 3:30 PM.
The course offers a scenic route along an old disused train line, featuring a precisely measured 5.3-kilometer out-and-back loop that runners of all abilities—from casual walkers to seasoned athletes—can enjoy at their own pace. The tarmac path winds through picturesque landscapes, providing both stunning views and historical charm.
Participants are encouraged to challenge themselves by completing as many laps as they can within the designated timeframe. Whether you opt for a leisurely stroll or push yourself with multiple loops, every finisher will be recognized and awarded a commemorative medal upon completion of their final lap. The event also offers a variety of bespoke medals should capacity limits have been reached.
With its flexible start times and accommodating nature, this race is designed to cater to everyone's personal pace and goals.
