Experience the thrill of racing through Two Rivers MTB Park on Tuesday, July 14th as part of MORC Presents: Summer Dirt Crit Series Race #2. This exciting event is sponsored by Oncology Hematology Associates (OHA) and offers a variety of categories for riders of all ages and abilities. Race like a kid again in the Kids Boys and Girls categories designed for participants aged 8 to 12 years old, with races starting at 6:00 PM. The course features two laps for younger racers, providing an exhilarating experience that’s sure to bring out their competitive spirit. For those looking to push themselves a bit more, the Junior Boys and Girls categories cater to riders aged 13-18 years old. These races begin at 6:45 PM with a duration of half an hour each, challenging both boys and girls alike in this fast-paced environment. If you're new to racing or looking for a beginner-friendly challenge, join the Beginner Cat 3 Men and Women categories starting at 6:45 PM as well. Similarly, experienced cyclists can test their mettle against other seasoned riders by competing in either Sport or Elite categories during the same timeframe. The event kicks off with check-in from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM followed by a practice session for all racers. Kids will compete first at 6:00 PM, and awards will be presented shortly after. The main races for beginners, juniors, and more advanced categories follow at 6:35 PM and 7:20 PM respectively. Awards ceremonies conclude the evening with recognition of top performers in each category. For those who excel over multiple weeks, there's a chance to win overall series podiums based on accumulated points from all races throughout July. This event is part of a larger community effort by MORC to support Missouri Off Road Cyclists—a non-profit dedicated to trail development and maintenance. Funds raised through this race will directly contribute to their mission in Southwest Missouri. Safety is paramount, so ensure you wear your helmet while riding.
