Dive into the refreshing waters of Salford Quays this summer at Dock 9, located in M50 3AZ. Whether you're an experienced swimmer or just starting out, these open water swims offer something for everyone.
The Summer Open Water Swims run from May through August on Saturdays and Wednesdays, providing a perfect opportunity to enjoy the cool waters of Salford Quays during those warm summer days. On Saturdays, swimmers can take advantage of morning sessions between 8-11am or afternoon sessions starting at 5pm until 7:30pm on Wednesdays.
For September swims, Saturday slots are available from 10-12pm. Each session allows for a relaxing swim in the open water setting while enjoying the scenic views and atmosphere of Salford Quays.
To ensure your safety during these events, it's important to have appropriate equipment like a tow-float. If you don't already own one, they are available for hire at the venue. Remember that last entry is 15 minutes before each session concludes, so be sure to arrive in time to enjoy all of your swim.
Pre-book your spot now and take advantage of discounted rates if you're a Bronze or Squid member. Even non-members can secure their place by pre-registering; however, day-of registrations are still possible but will incur an 'On The Day' fee.
