About the Event

Summer Open Water Swims at Dock 9, Salford Quays, offer swimmers of all levels an inviting aquatic experience. Located along the picturesque M50 3AZ shoreline, this venue provides a serene setting for both regulars and newcomers to enjoy open water swimming.
Bronze and Squid members can secure their spots in advance with discounted rates, ensuring they have ample time to soak up the tranquil atmosphere of Salford Quays. Non-members are also welcome to pre-book, guaranteeing them a spot during peak times. For those who miss out on pre-booking, walk-in swims are still available but at an 'On The Day' price.
Safety is paramount in these events, so participants should remember their tow-floats or opt for the venue's rental service to ensure they stay visible and secure while swimming.
The summer season runs from May through August with sessions on Saturdays between 8-11am and Wednesdays from 5-7:30pm. In September, swims continue on Saturdays but shift to a later time slot of 10-12pm. Last entry is permitted up until 15 minutes before the swim session concludes.
