About the Event

Summer Open Water Swims at Dock 9, Salford Quays, M50 3AZ offers a refreshing way to enjoy the water during warmer months. Located along the picturesque waterfront of Salford Quays, this venue provides swimmers with an ideal setting for open-water swimming.
From May through August, regular sessions are held on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and Wednesdays from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. For the month of September, swims take place every Saturday between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Swimmers can pre-book their spots at a discounted rate if they are members or join as Bronze or Squid members. Non-members also have the option to secure a spot in advance by paying the regular entry fee, ensuring availability throughout the season. However, walk-in swimmers are welcome but will need to pay an 'On The Day' price.
Safety is paramount at Dock 9. Swimmers must bring their own tow-float for added safety or can rent one on-site if they do not have access to their own equipment.
