About the Event

Summer Open Water Swims at Dock 9, Salford Quays, M50 3AZ offer a refreshing aquatic experience for both seasoned swimmers and beginners. Located along the picturesque waterfront of Salford Quays, this venue invites participants to enjoy cool morning or evening dips in the tranquil waters.
For Bronze and Squid members, pre-booking guarantees discounted rates, ensuring you secure your spot ahead of time. Non-members can also benefit from early booking options for a swim place. While same-day entries are possible, they will incur an 'On The Day' fee if not booked beforehand.
Safety is paramount at these events. Swimmers must bring their own tow-float or opt to hire one on-site to enhance buoyancy and visibility in the water.
Swim sessions take place throughout May to August every Saturday from 8am to 11am, and Wednesday evenings from 5pm until 7:30pm. In September, swimmers can enjoy a more relaxed schedule with swims scheduled for Saturdays between 10am and 12pm. Participants must enter the water at least fifteen minutes before their session concludes.
