Swim - Preese Hall (16/10)

Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of Preese Hall Farm, located in rural Fylde, for an invigorating morning swim on November 16, 2026. The serene lake offers chest-deep water that gradually becomes shallower near the banks, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Swimmers are required to wear tow floats for visibility and safety; wetsuits are optional but recommended due to the chilly waters.
The farm setting is peaceful yet practical: while it remains an active working environment, you'll have sole use of the lake during your swim session from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Afterward, warm up by the log burner in the gun room next to the toilets—a cozy spot for a post-swim chat and refreshment.
Facilities include changing areas at your vehicle or within the farm's buildings, such as the gun room which will be open during the event. Bring your own hot drinks and remember that this is private property; enter through secure gates using provided codes.
For those craving more after their swim, Woody’s Café offers a welcoming spot for food and conversation just minutes away.
Getting there by car involves navigating to Preese Hall Farm in Weeton (PR4 3HT), with clear signage guiding you from both Lytham and Wyre directions. Public transport options are available via the nearby bus stop on Halton Street, but be prepared for a walk from the nearest stops.
