The Big Pilgrimage is an unforgettable 15-mile point-to-point run that traces the newly discovered "Old Way" pilgrimage route from Southampton to Canterbury. This ancient trail, revealed on Britain's oldest road map, the Gough Map circa 1360, offers runners a unique blend of historical and scenic terrain.
As you embark on this journey, your path will take you along the picturesque Hamble foreshore where you can indulge in some BigFeat Pick 'N' Mix sweets before boarding one of our vessels for a short boat ride across the Hamble River to Warsash. From there, continue running around the coast towards Titchfield Haven.
Throughout your run, immerse yourself in the rich history and stunning landscapes as you pass by notable landmarks such as Netley Castle, Netley Abbey, The Chapel at Royal Victoria Country Park, and Titchfield Abbey. At each of these historic sites, collect a unique sticker to create an exclusive race bib that celebrates both tradition and modern adventure.
