About the Event

On Sunday, August 3, 2025, the charming town of Chora will come alive with the "Nestor's Road" road race. Starting at 6:30 PM from Central Square, this event invites runners and walkers alike to explore historical routes that wind through the heart of Chora and culminate near the iconic Palace of Nestor.
The race offers four distinct courses catering to all ages and fitness levels: a challenging 10km route for seasoned athletes, a scenic 3km course suitable for families with young children, as well as shorter options including a 1km run and a fun-filled 400m dash. Each path showcases the area's rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty.
Participants will enjoy several perks, such as commemorative T-shirts in sizes S, M, L, and XL, medals for all finishers, electronic timing to track your performance, and refreshments including water and fruit at designated points along each route. Trophies await the top performers in both the 10km and 3km categories.
Registration is available online, with a mandatory guardian declaration required for participants under age. All runners must undergo a medical examination before taking part. Join us as we celebrate sportsmanship, historical significance, and community spirit on Nestor's Road!
