Experience Three Days in the Park (3DIP), an unofficial celebration of Star Wars spirit where runners and friends gather for a unique adventure in nature. The event is set over three days, offering a one-mile loop course that includes a small but challenging hill – perfect for those looking to test their endurance with just enough elevation gain to keep things interesting.
The atmosphere is casual yet spirited, reflecting the fun and camaraderie of Star Wars fans who come together wearing their favorite gear or simply enjoying each other's company. Entry fees are minimal, covering essential amenities like portable toilets and propane heaters, ensuring a comfortable experience for all participants.
This year’s 3DIP will once again serve as a fundraiser, with any surplus funds donated to the Mood Disorders Society of Canada. The event is designed to be inclusive; no one will feel pressured to bring or wear Star Wars attire if they prefer not to – the focus remains on running and enjoying nature's beauty.
The course offers more than just terrain challenges; it’s lined with fun signs and illuminated by led lights, creating an enchanting night run experience.
