Tidal Force Ultra 100

Tidal Force Ultra 100 Night Run invites endurance runners to experience the Petitcodiac Loop Trail under the moonlit sky. This unique race unfolds over 15 loops of a challenging yet scenic 6.7km course, part of the renowned Trans-Canada Trail network in Southeast New Brunswick.
The trail itself is a blend of asphalt and fine crushed gravel with gentle elevation changes, weaving through picturesque landscapes that include two bridges, boardwalks, and even a covered bridge. Runners will circle around the majestic Petitcodiac River, offering stunning views as they navigate through both lit and dark sections during their nocturnal journey.
The event kicks off at 7 PM on the Riverview side of the trail, allowing runners to start under the fading light of day before diving into the night. The race concludes with a dramatic sprint finish back on the Riverview side at 10 AM the following morning, rewarding top performers with cash prizes and trophies.
A standout feature is the blend of urban conveniences near Riverview and serene natural beauty along the Moncton stretch of the trail. Runners can stock up or seek shelter in nearby amenities during their night run on the Riverview side. Meanwhile, those traversing the quieter areas will enjoy a more secluded experience with nature.
Safety measures are paramount; participants must carry functional headlamps for nighttime visibility and have spare lights, whistles, and personal cell phones at all times. A safety checkpoint halfway through ensures everyone's well-being throughout the night portion of the race.
The unique format challenges runners to complete each loop within an hour or face disqualification (DNF). Those still on course after 14 loops will sprint for cash prizes in a final dash, while completing seven full laps earns participants a commemorative medal. Finishing all 15 loops within 15 hours secures the coveted Ultra Elite 100 wrist band and recognition as part of Tidal Force's elite club.
Race kits include bib numbers, lighted glow sticks, and an event-specific wristband to mark this unforgettable night run experience. While race day essentials are provided in your kit, t-shirts will be available for purchase separately if desired.
