On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the Passerelle Trail will take runners through the rugged landscapes of Montagne Noire, connecting the iconic Mazamet and Aussillon villages. Five distinct routes are offered for participants to choose from. For those seeking a scenic yet less vertigo-inducing experience, there's an alternative route stretching 22 kilometers with 1,250 meters of elevation gain. This trail avoids the Passerelle bridge entirely, offering breathtaking views without the height difference of 70 meters above the Arnette River. The longest and most challenging course is named Les Trois Croix, which will also see some added elevation to match its demanding nature. For those who are already familiar with the other routes or prefer a less strenuous option, there's always The Nore trail at 26 kilometers, including the summit of Montagne Noire. All participants can look forward to receiving an official Trail de la Passerelle gift upon registration—choose your size within stock availability—and enjoy a local surprise after crossing the finish line. This event also offers ITRA points and UTMB® World Series Qualifiers opportunities for those aiming to advance their trail running credentials. The safety of all participants is prioritized with the implementation of the FFA's Health Prevention Route (PPS).
