Child Wellbeing & Protection Officer Training - Online Workshop

This comprehensive three-hour workshop is tailored for individuals tasked with ensuring the wellbeing and protection of children and young people within their sports clubs or organizations. Participants will delve into advanced strategies to safeguard minors in a variety of settings, both inside and outside competitive environments.
Eligibility Requirements:
To enroll, candidates must have completed both modules of the Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport Workshop (CWPS). Additionally, participants should be 18 years old or older.
The workshop will cover essential topics such as identifying a robust framework for safeguarding governance within sports organizations, understanding various roles and responsibilities related to child protection, assessing adult suitability when working with minors, responding effectively to concerns regarding the wellbeing of children, and recognizing how club culture influences these critical issues.
Interactive Virtual Classroom Experience:
The training will be conducted in an engaging virtual classroom setting. This online platform allows participants to interact directly with tutors and fellow attendees from their own homes or offices. Features include live video sessions where you can ask questions, view presentation slides, participate in group discussions, and engage in small breakout groups for more intimate learning experiences.
