TRIATLÓN SÚPER SPRINT DE SESTAO

The II Triathlon of Sestao, set to take place on September 6, 2026, offers an exciting challenge for cadet athletes with its supersprint distance. Competitors will start their journey from the picturesque town of Sestao and finish at the same location after completing a race that includes a swim in the sea or local body of water (300 meters), followed by a bike ride through scenic routes around the area (13 kilometers), and concluding with a run along the coastline or nearby trails (2.2 kilometers).
The event promises to be an immersive experience, complete with chip timing for accurate results and ample transition areas where participants can store their belongings in lockers provided at no extra cost. The race is open exclusively to cadet athletes, ensuring a fair competition among peers.
Registration for the triathlon opens on July 1st, with early bird pricing available until August 6th. Participants are encouraged to secure their spot by paying €15 if they already hold a valid license or €20 without one. On the day of the event, athletes can pick up their race numbers at Sestao's sports center between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Transition boxes will open at 9:15 AM for participants to set up their gear before the start time. The organizers recommend that all transition areas be cleared by 10:45 AM, ensuring a smooth race day experience.
