When and where will it take place?
The event will take place from September 4–5, 2026, in Guánica and at the Copa Marina Hotel.
What will happen each day?
Friday, September 4 – Copa Marina Hotel
3:00 PM–5:00 PM – Race packet pickup
6:00 PM – Technical briefing
7:00 PM – Pasta Party
Saturday, September 5
6:00 AM – Long Distance Triathlon Start
6:30 AM – Sprint Triathlon Start
12:00 PM – Both triathlons conclude
Awards Ceremony – As soon as the triathlon concludes
7:00 PM – Party 🎉

What are the courses and distances?
Swimming Course – Sprint and Long Distance:
- Swimming will take place at Caña Gorda Beach.
- The Sprint distance consists of one 750-meter loop.
- The Long Distance race consists of two loops for a total of 1,500 meters.
- The swim start will be at Caña Gorda Beach, Guánica.
- The course will be swum counterclockwise.
- Athletes will exit the water before beginning the second loop.
Transition Area:
- Located along the beach access road.
- The Sprint transition area will be on the right side, while the Long Distance transition area will be on the left.
- Athletes will exit the swim, take their bicycles, and head toward the main entrance/exit of the beach area.
- Upon returning from the bike segment, athletes will rack their bicycles and begin the run toward Copa Marina along PR-333.
Sprint Cycling Course:
- Athletes will leave the beach area via PR-333 toward PR-116, turning left at Burger King and continuing to the municipal boundary with Lajas (near Piraguas Las Muchachas), where they will make a U-turn and return to Copa Marina along the same route. This course is approximately 15 miles.
Long Distance Cycling Course:
- Athletes will leave the beach area by turning right onto PR-333 toward PR-116, then turn right at Burger King toward the Cañas sector. Upon reaching the intersection with Route 326 near Forever Flavor, athletes will make a U-turn and continue on PR-116 to the municipal boundary with Lajas (near Piraguas Las Muchachas), where they will make another U-turn. They will return to the Forever Flavor turnaround, head back again toward Piraguas Las Muchachas for another U-turn, and finally return to Copa Marina along the same route. This course is approximately 32 miles.
Sprint Run Course:
- 3.1 miles – One out-and-back loop.
- Leaving the beach area, athletes will turn right onto PR-333 toward Tamarindo Beach and then return to the beach area.
Long Distance Run Course:
- 6 miles – One full out-and-back loop plus an additional half loop on PR-333.
- Leaving the beach area, athletes will turn right toward Tamarindo Beach and return to the beach area. They will then continue back to the Sprint turnaround point before returning to the beach area to finish the race.
