Participants must check into the event at The Nicholson Hotel to ensure they are part of this exciting competition. Fishing will conclude by Sunday afternoon at 11:30 AM. The highlight of the weekend is the major prize draw taking place on Sunday afternoons in the hotel carpark. Attendees must be present for a chance to win an impressive boat and other fantastic prizes, including event-specific categories like King or Queen of Bream 2026. This category challenges anglers to catch the longest string of bream over the weekend. For those with a preference for individual competition, there are multiple age-based categories: Senior Female Anglers, Senior Male Anglers, and Junior (12 years and under) Anglers. Each will compete in finding the longest single Bream. Team spirit is encouraged through two team competitions. The Standard Team category invites groups of up to four members to catch the longest string of 4 bream together. Family teams comprising six or fewer members can vie for their own prize by catching the longest string of 4 bream as a family unit, though they are ineligible for standard team prizes. Top 10 longest Bream caught by Senior Anglers and Junior Anglers will also be entered into draw competitions with more exciting prizes to come. A secret fish draw will further enhance your chances throughout all entries.
