The 8th Annual Islendingadagurinn-Icelandic Festival of Manitoba Running Races returns to Gimli, Manitoba on August 2nd, 2026. This 10 Mile road race is part of the Interlake Run Series, which challenges participants with four races around Manitoba’s beautiful lake area between Lake Winnipeg and Lake Manitoba. The 35th Annual Jan's Memorial 1 Mile Fun Run is set to start at Gimli Pavillion Park just before the more significant races.
