The swim takes place in an indoor pool at Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Center, ensuring safety regardless of weather conditions. The PureKids Triathlon Series offers a 100m race for kids aged five and under, followed by distances ranging from 6-7 years to 14-15 years with varying fees. Each athlete receives a medal, t-shirt, swim cap, and swag bag as part of the experience. Registration can be done online at https://raceroster.com/events/2026/115718/2026-the-purekids-triathlon-series-powered-by-subway by August 6th. The race day kit pickup will happen from 7-8:45 am on the morning of the event at 249 Sherk Street, Leamington, Ontario. Participants must be present and ready to race by 9:00 am. All necessary equipment is required including a properly fitted bicycle helmet or tricycle with training wheels for younger racers. Lifeguards will ensure safety during the swim portion of the event in the indoor pool. The typical weather on August mornings can feel like it's around 21 degrees Celsius, though humidity levels may make things slightly muggy as the day warms up a bit. Light winds might provide some relief from heat but could also slow down runners and cyclists depending on direction. This year’s PureKids Triathlon Series is more than just a race; it’s an opportunity to support local children while enjoying beautiful Leamington's summer weather with friends and family.
