5ème RAID LYNX : « RAID SAMPIERO 2026 »

Le Raid Lynx, organized by the Corsica Triathlon Club d’Ajaccio (CTCA) under the leadership of President Sauveur Nicolas, invites teams of two to embark on an exhilarating adventure through diverse terrains and disciplines. This multi-sport event challenges participants with a unique blend of kayaking, mountain biking, swimming, trail running, orienteering, and skill-based activities.
The Raid Lynx offers two distinct formats: the shorter course designed for those who prefer a more compact experience, and the longer route for seasoned athletes seeking an extended challenge. Both courses feature the same sequence of disciplines but vary in duration and distance to cater to different levels of endurance and expertise.
For the short course, teams can expect approximately 5 hours of intense activity covering around 31 kilometers with 380 meters of elevation gain. This includes a combination of cross-country running (CO) sections totaling 6.5 km, trail runs spanning 4 km, mountain biking segments amounting to 19 km across two legs, swimming for about half an hour in total, and kayaking along one kilometer.
The longer course stretches the limits over approximately 8 hours with a distance of roughly 52 kilometers and 1200 meters elevation gain. This route features extended cross-country running sections totaling 19.5 km, trail runs covering 19.5 km across two legs, mountain biking for nearly 20 kilometers in one leg, swimming over approximately an hour total split between two segments, and kayaking along the same kilometer as on the short course.
For safety reasons, participants aged 12 or 13 years old are required to compete alongside adult teammates. This ensures a controlled environment that balances excitement with security for all competitors.
Le Raid Lynx promises not only physical challenges but also an immersive experience of Corsican landscapes and camaraderie among teams as they navigate through the diverse terrain, from serene waterways to rugged trails.
