Allegheny Cycling Association Tuesday Night Criterium Week 14: P Course/Clinic/P Course
About the Event
Experience the exhilaration of the 2026 ACA Tuesday Criterium Series, held every Tuesday at the scenic Allegheny County Fairgrounds. This series offers racers an unparalleled opportunity to test their skills on a challenging yet rewarding course. For your first race, women in categories 1 through 5 will compete against each other in a fierce and competitive environment. The second week introduces a unique twist with a race clinic replacing the NB45 race, providing valuable coaching directly on the track for all participants. On the third Tuesday of the series, men’s categories 1 through 3 come together to push their limits. A notable change is that the cost of participating in the second race on the same day has been reduced to $15, making it more accessible while maintaining a competitive edge. Fields of over 20 racers will enjoy increased payouts for top five finishers, adding an extra layer of excitement and motivation. Category 5 (Novice) racers are required to purchase only one-day licenses; however, all other participants must have active USA Cycling memberships to ensure safety and fair competition. To support local racing in Pittsburgh, join the ACA as a member before registering for any race. Membership costs include discounts on each race entry—save $5 per event by becoming a member early. For new racers or those looking to enhance their cycling experience, USAC licenses are available at reduced rates for juniors aged 18 and under. Consider getting an annual license instead of a one-day pass if you plan to participate frequently. Ensure that all minors have the signature of a parent or guardian on the provided USAC One Day License Form for Minors. The event organizers emphasize safety, with comprehensive guidelines available in the ACA Racer Instructions document. Whether you're looking to compete at your best or simply enjoy the camaraderie and atmosphere, this series promises an unforgettable experience amidst picturesque surroundings and passionate racers alike.

About Pittsburgh
Learn more about the host city, Pittsburgh.
The pleasure of Pittsburgh remains a well-kept secret. Though not built up by reputation, the city's unique combination of bridges, steep hills, and broad rivers make it one of the most naturally scenic cities in the country. Cheap food and beer abound in this true sports town and the locals are amazingly friendly. A city of about 303,000 (2021) in Allegheny County, at the center of a metro area of about 2.4 million in southwestern Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh is situated at the confluence of three rivers: the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River. The city's unique terrain has resulted in an unusual city design and a hodge-podge of unique neighborhood "pockets" with diverse ethnic and architectural heritage. Pittsburgh has a rich history and, for its size, an unusual array of cultural treasures, largely thanks to the wealth that was generated when Pittsburgh was a hub of industry.
