Catskill Mountain Cycling Challenge

About the Event

Registration opens at 7 am on September 6th, with an additional $15 surcharge if registering on the day. The Catskill Mountain Cycling Challenge invites cyclists to explore three breathtaking routes through the picturesque Western Catskills region. This year's event builds upon a rich tradition of recreational road cycling and aims to support the continued operation of the Catskill Recreation Center (CRC).
The 29-mile route will start at 9:30 am, followed by the 50-mile journey beginning at 8:30 am. The longest challenge, a 100-mile ride, also commences at 8:30 am. Each cyclist embarking on these routes can look forward to scenic landscapes and challenging terrain that showcase the natural beauty of the Catskills.
A pre-ride safety briefing will be held fifteen minutes before each departure point, ensuring participants are well-prepared for their chosen route. The CRC offers a welcoming atmosphere with locker rooms and showers available for your convenience. Enjoy some refreshments from the center’s selection of delicious food and drinks after your ride. Remember to bring a towel as facilities may not provide one.
