About the Event

The Donut Duathlon invites runners and cyclists of all ages to the picturesque Torbay Velopark on March 14, 2027. This fast and flat course offers a unique duathlon experience that is perfect for both beginners and seasoned athletes alike. The event kicks off with a smooth parkland run, followed by an exhilarating bike ride along the velodrome's pristine tarmac. Participants then finish with a shorter run to cross the line.
The Donut Duathlon not only attracts top local talent but also welcomes families with children aged 3 and above. Parents can join kids under 8 in the mini duathlon, assisting them as needed during transitions between running and cycling sections. For those new to the sport or seeking a more manageable distance, there is also a Supersprint/Novice event.
All finishers receive medals and delicious donuts regardless of which race they complete. Cyclists can use any roadworthy bike for this non-drafting event, including MTBs, hybrids, and road bikes. The Torbay Velopark's smooth surface ensures a swift ride with no traffic to hinder your progress.
