The Dunnville Grand Tour 2026 returns to Haldimand County in Ontario on August 16th, celebrating its tenth year as a beloved community event. Participants will enjoy the scenic routes that wind through picturesque landscapes near Lake Erie and along the banks of the Grand River. The ride begins at Dunnville Memorial Arena & Community Lifespan Centre, located at 275 Ramsey Drive in Dunnville. Race morning finds runners warming up under clear skies with a mild temperature range of between 16.6C to 25.0C and humidity around 73.7%, making for comfortable conditions. Since its inception over ten years ago, the event has partnered with True Experience to support mental health initiatives in our community, raising funds and awareness for life-changing housing, community programs, and support services for adults living with mental illness. The weekend-long event offers a mix of 160km, 100km, 75km, 50km, and 25km routes, all clearly marked with arrows to guide cyclists along the way. Course venue includes paved roads that are perfect for recreational cycling enthusiasts looking to explore local trails at their own pace. Rest stops every 20-30 kilometers will provide refreshments including fruits, granola bars, snacks, and washrooms. A pasta lunch will also be served post-ride. SAG vehicles will patrol the road offering assistance.
