The open water swim offers swimmers the chance to experience Hanningfield Reservoir in its entirety, with full details available upon registration. All races start at 8:00 AM sharp, allowing participants ample time to enjoy the morning tranquility before the excitement begins. Transition areas are meticulously organized for a seamless race day experience, complete with secure racking spots and small storage options for personal items. Wetsuit use is optional but recommended due to expected warm water temperatures, enhancing buoyancy and comfort in the reservoir’s waters.
