Trifarm 10k Autumn trail run

The second installment of the Trifarm Seasonal Trail Series for 2026 is set to captivate runners with its unique blend of scenic routes and challenging terrain. This race, which covers approximately 95% off-road paths on public footpaths and bridleways, offers a TRA permit number (7415) that's still pending confirmation.
Scheduled at the picturesque Trifarm located along Church Road in Boreham, CM3 3DS, registration begins promptly at 6:00 PM with a mass start following half an hour later. The race kicks off as dusk falls and participants may find themselves finishing under the cover of nightfall—especially if you're among the last to cross the finish line.
The route commences with three-quarters of a lap around Trifarm’s running track before venturing into a clockwise loop that takes runners along public footpaths, culminating near the humpback bridge. Runners are encouraged to bring their phones and headtorches as visibility can be low towards the end of the race.
For those seeking an additional pre-race activity, discounted swim tickets are available upon registration when you sign up for the event. The lake remains warm even into autumn, making it a perfect way to prepare before hitting the trails.
Ample parking is provided on-site at Trifarm, and registration will take place in or near the buildings where participants can collect their race numbers and download route narratives from www.multisport-management.co.uk one week prior. A detailed start list with essential information such as your unique race number and arrival process will be emailed a few days before the event.
Participants are reminded to wear their race bibs on the front of their clothing, unfolded for clear visibility at all times. Manually timed results may require you to have your number visible upon crossing the finish line; ensure it's easily seen to secure an accurate time recording.
The course itself is a reverse version of the summer route and will be available via Strava or GPX map options online. No water stations are provided along the way, so hydration should be managed before starting out. Similarly, there won't be any marshals on-site; however, a tail walker will sweep through to ensure all runners have completed their journey safely.
Post-race amenities include bacon rolls, tea, coffee, and cakes sold by Bill, Ruth, and the Trifarm team. It’s also customary for participants to head up to a local pub in Boreham afterward for some well-deserved refreshments.
Results will be posted on the website once all data is collated. Top 15 male and female finishers earn points towards the overall championship title, with bonuses awarded for breaking course records—similar to MotoGP scoring systems. Trophies are presented to champions in both categories at year-end celebrations.
