Kinross Show Hill Race 2026

On Saturday, August 8th, runners will have the opportunity to take on the inaugural Kinross Show Hill Race, set to challenge participants with its unique and rugged terrain. Starting promptly at noon, this race is more than just an athletic endeavor; it's a journey through uncharted territory that offers breathtaking views of Loch Leven.
The route covers approximately 2.3 miles, featuring steep ascents totaling around 750 feet in elevation gain. The course itself consists largely of off-path sections and technical descents, making navigation skills essential as runners make their way up the hillside. The race begins in the heart of Kinross Showground and concludes near its bustling bar area.
