Lace Up For The Library 5K

Join us on Saturday, August 29, 2026, for the third installment of the Lace Up For The Library 5K Run/Walk. This annual community fundraiser benefits the Yates Community Library and welcomes both runners and walkers to participate.
Registration remains open until race day, with guaranteed t-shirts in your requested size if you register by August 19th at 9 AM. Extra shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis after that date. The event starts and finishes at Yates Town Park along the picturesque shores of Lake Ontario in Lyndonville.

Race day activities begin with packet pickup at 8:00 AM in the pavilion at Yates Town Park until the start time of 9:00 AM sharp. The registration fee includes a race bib/timing chip, post-race food and snacks, bottled water, and an official t-shirt while supplies last.
After crossing the finish line, join us for light refreshments, music, and an awards ceremony at Yates Town Park. Trophies will be awarded to first-place male and female overall winners, with additional age group prizes (TBD) given out during the celebration.
Parking is plentiful and free throughout the park area. The race features professional timing services provided by Race Management Solutions using Jaguar Electronic RFID technology for precise results updated in real-time via various platforms such as ITSYourRace Mobile App or RMS Race Results Kiosk/Printer located near the finish line.
