The Manvers Dusk till Dawn returns, offering runners an unforgettable endurance challenge that spans from twilight to dawn. Participants have 12 hours—starting at 6PM on Saturday and ending at 6AM the following Sunday—to complete as many laps of a scenic lake course as they can manage.
Each lap covers 3.21 miles, winding through off-road footpaths with no road crossings for safety and tranquility. The terrain is flat and conducive to continuous running or walking, allowing runners flexibility in their pacing throughout the night. A reliable head torch will be essential if you plan on navigating the darker hours of this event.
The club house serves as a central hub offering all necessary amenities: toilets, showers, rest facilities including a quiet room for downtime, food stations with hot drinks to keep energy levels up, and even bag drop services. Runners can stop by whenever they need sustenance or respite from their laps around the lake.
For those looking to camp overnight on-site, an additional £15 per pitch is available at pre-booking only, allowing runners to arrive as early as 2PM for setup and depart no later than Sunday morning at 10AM. Parking is included in your entry fee and conveniently located next to the club house.
Participants will be provided with details on how to purchase event merchandise such as tee shirts closer to the race date. Every finisher receives a medal along with a certificate commemorating their participation.
