This is your opportunity for an exhilarating day of competitive cycling under the watchful eye of experienced coaches. For Grassroots Members, racing costs just $10 when you use your membership discount code. NEV Members race free, thanks to their exclusive perks. If you plan on competing more throughout the season, becoming a member proves cost-effective very quickly. Our event offers diverse categories tailored to all skill levels: - The A Race caters to experienced racers and masters seeking a competitive yet approachable pace. - The B Race is designed for seasoned riders in Category 4 and 5 who are looking for a strong, steady race environment. - Newcomers will find the C/Novice Race perfect. This category offers gear restrictions of up to 50x15 max, ensuring a supportive setting where you can build confidence and skills. To enhance your experience as a new rider, we provide built-in coaching within the C/Novice field. Rolling coaches ride alongside participants during races, offering real-time guidance on positioning and tactics. This ensures not only safety but also a positive first race experience that's invaluable for learning from experienced cyclists. Field adjustments may be made based on registration numbers to ensure optimal racing conditions. Women’s fields can be added if there is sufficient interest, making the event inclusive and dynamic. For A and B categories, open gearing will apply unless otherwise noted. All participants are expected to maintain a safe and respectful race environment. Pre-registration is highly recommended as it assists in better planning for everyone's enjoyment.
