NWJS Lakes 5 Days Rest Day - Birkrigg

About the Event

The Lakes 5 Days Rest Day is an engaging score orienteering event hosted by the North West Junior Squad on Birkrigg Common near Ulverston, South Lakes. This fundraising initiative supports squad members with training and associated costs for selections.
Participants will have two course options: a brisk 45-minute challenge or a more leisurely 60-minute exploration. Both courses offer ample opportunity to chart your own path through the common’s network of runnable fell terrain, dotted with paths and interspersed areas covered in bracken, gorse, and limestone pavement that can become slippery when wet.
The event accommodates up to 300 participants across both courses due to parking limitations. Entry is available on a first-come-first-served basis at the venue if spaces remain after the closing date.
