Perth 10k Festival

Welcome to the Perth 10km Festival, set for Sunday, August 30th, 2026. This exciting festival offers both runners and families an engaging day of athletic activities along the picturesque banks of River Tay.
The centerpiece event is a scenic 10km race that starts at North Inch Park, winding alongside the river's serene waters. Ideal for seasoned athletes seeking personal bests or newcomers looking to tackle their first major race, this flat course promises speed and beauty in equal measure. Participants will enjoy views of Perth’s historic landmarks while running through well-maintained paths.
For younger participants aged 11 and under, a fun-filled 1.5km run is also on offer, starting at the same location as the main event but earlier in the morning at 10:20 AM. This shorter race provides an introduction to competitive athletics for young enthusiasts.
Both races are supported by local suppliers who craft unique medals for all finishers and a dedicated team of marshals consisting of RAF Cadets and Police Youth Volunteers Scotland, ensuring smooth operations throughout the event.
Prizes will be awarded in several categories including first overall male and female winners across both race distances. Additionally, there are age-specific awards such as Local Male and Female (for participants with postcodes PH1 or PH2), Over 40, Over 50, Over 60, and Over 70.
