The 2026 Dunoon 10k Coastal Road Race

Dive into the breathtaking beauty of Dunoon with the 2026 Dunoon Coastal Road Race, set for Saturday, August 1st. This iconic race invites runners from all over to experience an unforgettable journey along Scotland’s stunning coastline.
The route is a perfect blend of scenic splendor and competitive spirit. Starting just outside The Boat House in West Bay, participants will take on a flat and fast 10k course that hugs the Firth of Clyde shoreline before looping back towards the finish line. Officially measured by an accredited Scottish Athletics Federation measurer, this race promises accuracy and excitement.
Prize money is up for grabs once again, offering incentives for both senior runners and veterans:
- Senior prizes (male & female): £70 for 1st place, £40 for 2nd place, and £20 for 3rd place.
- Veteran prizes: £20 each for the first V40, V50, V60, and V70 finishers.
Entry to this race is just £23, with a discount of £2 available for Scottish Athletics members. Registration will be open from July 18th until August 1st, starting at Dunoon Pier, where runners can collect their numbers on the day between 9:30am and start time. All participants must be over 15 years old.
Upon crossing the finish line, every runner is rewarded with a commemorative medal and an exclusive branded technical t-shirt to celebrate their achievement.
