The Plymouth Multisport Festival 2027 invites athletes from all corners of the globe to experience an unforgettable weekend of competition and camaraderie. Nestled just eight minutes away by ferry from the heart of Plymouth, Mount Edgecumbe offers a breathtaking backdrop for this diverse array of events. Whether you're a seasoned triathlete or a newcomer to open water swimming, there's something here that will suit your skill level and interests. Triathletes can choose between distances ranging from Sprint to 70.3 Ironman distance races, while aquabike enthusiasts have the option of completing the standard-distance event without cycling. For those who prefer to focus on a single discipline, open water swims are available in three lengths: 3 kilometers, 1500 meters, and 750 meters. Trail running events include marathon distances for both runners and relay teams, as well as half-marathon and 10K races through rugged coastal paths. The festival also caters to younger athletes with special kids' races designed to introduce them to the excitement of multisport competition in a fun and supportive environment. The Mount Edgecumbe site itself is nothing short of spectacular, featuring extensive gardens and scenic coastlines that provide runners and swimmers alike with an unforgettable setting for their challenges. The festival grounds also boast a fantastic campsite overlooking Plymouth Sound, offering athletes and spectators the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding beauty after competing. With ample parking available on-site, participants can easily access all the events without worrying about transportation logistics. Additionally, catering options ensure that everyone is well-fed throughout the weekend, making it easy for competitors to refuel between races or simply take in the atmosphere of this vibrant sporting event. Join us at Mount Edgecumbe on June 5, 2027, and experience why the Plymouth Multisport Festival has become a must-attend destination for multisport enthusiasts from around the world.
