QA 5k - organised by PH Racing Club

QA 5k is an evening race hosted by PH Racing Club around the perimeter of Queen Anne High School in Dunfermline. This fast and flat course offers competitive runners the opportunity for quick times and high-quality racing under UK Athletics Rules, making it a scottishathletics Licensed Event.
The event features multiple time-graded races with entrants assigned to categories based on their current ability levels. Once entries close, organizers will set thresholds that ensure an even spread of abilities across each race night session. Races are held in laps around the school grounds and consist of just over seven clockwise loops without sharp turns for a smooth run.
QA 5k awards substantial cash prizes: first male and female finishers receive £250, second place gets £150, and third takes home £100. Additionally, there is an extra prize pool of up to £500 available for course records—£13:57 for men and £15:54 for women.
The race includes live commentary provided by You Can Sport to enhance the atmosphere for both runners and spectators. Registration takes place at Queen Anne High School's main entrance before each start time, allowing participants ample opportunity to sign up or get ready on race day.
