Get ready to explore a variety of courses including the Warm Up (recommended for beginners), Short Line, Long Line, and Score. The choice is yours—whether it’s your first time or you’re an experienced orienteering enthusiast, there's something here that will challenge and inspire.
No prior experience? No problem! Maps are provided along with beginner-friendly routes to ensure a smooth start. Free tips from experts await to help you get oriented quickly. All you need is comfortable athletic wear and a curious spirit—no special equipment required.
Join us on Saturdays for fresh air, friendly vibes, and the thrill of sneaky navigation. The meeting point details will be announced closer to the event date, along with What3Words coordinates for easy location. Start times are flexible within 9:30 am to 11 am; you can begin at any time during this window.
Courses like Warm Up, Short Line, Long Line, and Score cater to different skill levels, making it possible to participate in multiple runs if desired. SPORTident timing is used for all courses, with hireable cards available on-site for those who don’t already own one.
Entry fees are straightforward: adults pay $18 (with a 15% discount for members) and school students can join at $15 (also with a 15% member discount). A late entry fee of $2 applies if you register after midday on Thursday before the event. Timing card hire costs an additional $4 per participant.
