About the Event

Dock 9 at Salford Quays offers swimmers of all levels an inviting aquatic playground from May through September. Located along the picturesque waterfront, this open water swimming venue welcomes both members and non-members to enjoy its refreshing waters.
Swimming sessions are held on Saturdays and Wednesdays throughout the summer months, providing flexibility for participants to choose their preferred day and time slot. On Saturdays, swimmers can take a dip from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM or later in the morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM during September. Wednesday sessions are available from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM.
Pre-book your spot for a discounted rate as a Bronze or Squid member, ensuring you secure your swim time without missing out on savings. Non-members can also pre-register and guarantee their place in the water. If you prefer to drop by spontaneously, On The Day entries are welcome but will incur higher fees.
Safety is paramount at Dock 9; all swimmers must bring a tow-float for visibility or opt to hire one from the venue if needed. This ensures that everyone can enjoy the experience with peace of mind.
Last entry times allow you sufficient time in the water, closing fifteen minutes before each session ends so that everyone has ample opportunity to finish their swim comfortably and safely.
