Summer Open Water Swims at Dock 9, Salford Quays, M50 3AZ offers swimmers an inviting aquatic experience amidst the picturesque setting of Salford's waterfront. Whether you are part of the Bronze or Squid membership programs, securing your spot comes with a discount for pre-booked entries, ensuring early birds enjoy reduced rates and guaranteed swim slots. For those who aren’t members but still wish to participate, advance booking is also available at non-member prices. Should you miss out on the pre-booking window, don't fret—walk-in swimmers are welcome too, though they will need to pay an "On The Day" rate for entry. Safety remains a top priority with mandatory use of tow-floats or hire options provided directly at Dock 9’s facilities. This ensures all participants can enjoy the water safely and comfortably during their chosen swim times. Swim sessions are scheduled throughout May, June, July, and August on Saturdays from 8 to 11 am and Wednesdays from 5 to 7:30 pm. As summer transitions into early autumn in September, Saturday swims shift to a more relaxed morning session from 10 to 12 pm. Please note that last entry is permitted up until 15 minutes before the scheduled end time of each swim session.
