About the Event

Summer Open Water Swims at Dock 9, Salford Quays, offer a refreshing aquatic experience for swimmers of all levels. Located along the picturesque waterfront of M50 3AZ, this venue invites both seasoned and novice open water enthusiasts to enjoy its tranquil waters.
Swimmers can secure their spot by pre-booking through Bronze or Squid membership at discounted rates. Non-members are also welcome to reserve a place ahead of time for guaranteed entry; however, same-day bookings will be subject to availability and the higher "On The Day" fee.
Safety is paramount during these swims. Participants must bring their own tow-floats, which can be rented on-site if needed, ensuring everyone's safety while enjoying the water.
The summer season runs from May through August with sessions held every Saturday between 8am and 11am as well as Wednesdays from 5pm to 7:30pm. As September arrives, swims continue but shift to Saturdays only, running from 10am to noon.
To ensure a smooth entry process, the last check-in time is 15 minutes before each session concludes.
