The St. Joseph PAVing the Way 5K

Join us on September 12, 2025, for the second Annual St. Joseph PAVing the Way 5K Race, starting and finishing at the heart of St. Joseph Catholic Parish. This community-driven race begins with a ceremonial start line at the church grounds before heading down Martz Road, weaving through charming neighborhood streets that showcase the vibrant local scenery.
Participants will be greeted by enthusiastic spectators along the route as they make their way back to the parish for the conclusion of the race and the kick-off of the St. Joseph Catholic Parish Block Party. The event promises an atmosphere filled with community spirit and celebration, making it a memorable day for runners and families alike.
Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers over 18 years old as well as the top three in each gender under 18. Race bibs and premium packages are available at St. Joseph Church on Friday, September 11th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM or race morning between 8:45 AM and 9:45 AM.
Registration is $35 with a guaranteed t-shirt for those who sign up by August 28th; thereafter the cost remains at $35 but includes only entry into the race. Youth aged 11 years and younger can run free when accompanied by an adult participant, adding another layer of inclusivity to this community event.
Proceeds from the race will benefit SJCC's PAVing the Way program, which supports young adults as they navigate their transition from high school into adulthood with guidance, encouragement, and practical advice. This initiative aims to foster faith, clarity, and purpose in a life stage marked by significant changes and new beginnings.
