TUFTY TRAIL RACE 2026
Brought to you by Falkland Trail Runners, the TUFTY TRAIL RACE promises an exhilarating run through the picturesque landscapes of Falkland Estate. Scheduled for Sunday, November 8th, with a start time at 11:00am, this race is set against the stunning backdrop of Strathmiglo and its surrounding hills.
The course spans approximately 5 miles, weaving through trails and paths that offer runners an unforgettable journey across diverse terrains. The route begins near Strathmiglo Village Hall and ascends toward the Lomonds, providing a challenging climb up the hillside. After reaching Drumdreel woods, participants will navigate a loop of forest trails before enjoying a thrilling downhill run back to the start line.
All finishers can look forward to receiving a unique race memento as part of their accomplishment. In addition to overall male and female awards for first three places, there are special prizes available in age categories: Under 20, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and over 70.
Race day logistics include pre-race number pick-up at Strathmiglo Village Hall from 10:00am. The hall will also provide toilets, bag storage, limited changing facilities, and post-race refreshments for participants. Parking is available in a small lot outside the village hall; however, runners are encouraged to park considerately if space runs out.
Pre-entry is mandatory with no refunds or deferrals allowed after registration closes. However, number transfers can be arranged up until 7 days before race day by notifying the Race Organizer directly at David Pease's contact details: Tel - 07770 826349.

Participants are reminded that swapping bib numbers is strictly prohibited under any circumstances. By participating in this event, runners confirm their understanding and agreement with all competition rules as outlined by the Association of Running Clubs (ARC).
